1. Our Fundamental Commitment
VideoSave does not require an account. The application code does not include tracking analytics or intentionally include submitted media URLs in its structured downloader events, but it does record limited operational events for processing and error monitoring.
2. Ephemeral Processing & File Retention
When you submit a URL for conversion:
- Media files are downloaded into a separate temporary directory for each processing job.
- The media remains there while server-side processing and file delivery run.
- Cleanup is attempted after processing failures and when the response finishes or is cancelled.
- VideoSave does not intentionally archive downloaded media, but immediate cleanup cannot be guaranteed after every process or host failure.

3. Cookies & Local Preferences
The application code does not set tracking cookies or include advertising analytics or profiling scripts. The interface follows your browser color preference and allows a theme change for the current page session. Hosting or network providers may apply their own logging and data practices.
4. External Media Links
A submitted supported public URL is sent to the VideoSave server, which validates it and contacts the upstream platform through the media extractor. VideoSave is intended for supported public TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook URLs; availability depends on access and current platform support.
